ZATCA Tax & E-Invoicing Compliance Specialist

Compliance & Accounting Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite/Hybrid) Full-Time SAR 16,000 - 24,000 / month

Role Overview

At Qeemah, compliance is not an afterthought—it is the bedrock of our software. As our ZATCA Tax & E-Invoicing Compliance Specialist, you will serve as the domain expert bridging Saudi tax regulations (ZATCA, SOCPA, VAT executive regulations) with our software engineering and product teams.

You will help test, refine, and audit our automated ZATCA BR-KSA business rules, guide clients through CSID onboarding on the Fatoora portal, and ensure Qeemah remains the most authoritative and compliant accounting engine in Saudi Arabia.

What You Will Do

  • Tax & Compliance Advisory: Provide subject matter expertise on KSA Value Added Tax (VAT), Real Estate Transaction Tax (RETT), Withholding Tax, and Zakat regulations to our product and engineering teams.
  • ZATCA Phase 2 Integration Oversight: Monitor ZATCA circulars, wave announcements, and technical guidelines. Validate XML invoice schemas against ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing standards including cryptographic stamps, QR code generation, and debit/credit note business rules.
  • Client Fatoora Onboarding: Support enterprise and SME clients through cryptographic onboarding (production CSID generation, OTP issuance, device registration) on the ZATCA Fatoora Portal.
  • Audit & Error Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot complex e-invoicing clearance and reporting errors, documenting root causes in our ZATCA Common Errors Directory.
  • Content & Thought Leadership: Collaborate with our marketing team to publish high-authority compliance guides, webinar sessions, and SME tax advice.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of professional accounting or tax advisory experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably within a Big 4 firm, ERP consultancy, or high-growth tech company.
  • SOCPA Certification or Bachelor’s in Accounting / Finance: In-depth understanding of Saudi tax law, IFRS for SMEs, and VAT filing procedures.
  • Hands-on ZATCA Phase 2 Experience: Thorough understanding of Phase 2 waves, B2B clearance vs. B2C reporting, UBL 2.1 invoice structures, and the Fatoora simulation and production portals.
  • Bilingual Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Comfort working alongside software engineers, reading JSON/XML logs, and testing cloud software workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GCC tax implementations (such as UAE VAT / Corporate Tax).
  • Prior experience delivering customer webinars or training accountants on modern ERP systems.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: SAR 16,000 to SAR 24,000 per month depending on qualifications (SOCPA, CTA) and experience.
  • Comprehensive Healthcare: Premium medical and dental coverage for you and your family.
  • Social Insurance (GOSI): Full compliance with the Kingdom’s social insurance system.
  • Modern Riyadh Offices: Prime office location on King Fahd Road with flexible hybrid work arrangements.
  • Annual Travel Allowance: Relocation assistance and annual ticket allowance.
  • Continuous Education: Full sponsorship for relevant professional certifications (SOCPA, VAT Specialist, DipIFR).
