Role Overview
As financial data software, Qeemah operates under zero-tolerance requirements for downtime, data loss, and security breaches. As our DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for our production cloud architecture, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and data protection practices.
You will ensure our ZATCA e-invoicing API services achieve 99.99% availability, maintain regional data residency compliance in Saudi Arabia, and scale seamlessly during month-end tax filing rushes.
What You Will Do
- Infrastructure as Code: Architect, provision, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure using Terraform and modular configurations.
- High-Availability Data Systems: Manage production PostgreSQL databases with RDS read replicas, automated multi-region backup strategies, point-in-time recovery, and connection pooling with PgBouncer.
- Containerization & CI/CD: Build fast, deterministic deployment pipelines using Docker, GitHub Actions, and container orchestration with automated rollback capabilities.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, metric dashboards, and alert thresholds using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Enforce stringent security standards including VPC isolation, IAM least-privilege, automated vulnerability scanning, SSL/TLS enforcement, and compliance with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) of Saudi Arabia.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering managing high-availability SaaS infrastructure on AWS.
- Terraform Mastery: Proven ability to write clean, state-managed, modular Terraform code.
- Database Operations: Strong hands-on experience tuning, backing up, and monitoring high-transaction PostgreSQL databases.
- Containerization: Expert knowledge of Docker container optimization, security hardening, and orchestration.
- Security First: Solid grasp of Linux systems administration, networking (DNS, routing, firewalls, CDN caching), and secret management.
Nice to Have
- Experience complying with Saudi NCA (ECC/CSCC) or ISO 27001 cybersecurity frameworks.
- Prior experience managing infrastructure for fintech, banking, or e-invoicing microservices.
- Familiarity with Redis clustering, Cloudflare edge workers, and Caddy reverse proxies.
