Tag-Length-Value (TLV) is the encoding format used in ZATCA QR codes. Each field (seller name, TIN, timestamp, total, VAT) is encoded with a tag number, the length of the value, and the value itself.
In everyday Saudi accounting work, tlv format matters because it affects invoice accuracy, financial reporting, tax filing, or ZATCA compliance depending on the transaction.

صيغة Tag-Length-Value (TLV) هي صيغة الترميز المستخدمة في رموز QR الخاصة بزاتكا. يُرمّز كل حقل (اسم البائع، الرقم الضريبي، الطابع الزمني، الإجمالي، الضريبة) برقم علامة وطول القيمة والقيمة نفسها.
