Clearance
📖 Definition
Clearance is the ZATCA validation process for Standard (B2B) invoices. The invoice is sent to ZATCA for approval before being shared with the buyer. ZATCA returns a cleared invoice with a cryptographic stamp.
In everyday Saudi accounting work, clearance matters because it affects invoice accuracy, financial reporting, tax filing, or ZATCA compliance depending on the transaction.
💡 Example
B2B invoices over SAR 1,000 require clearance - sent to ZATCA API, validated, stamped, then delivered to customer.
